When adding an enlistment, the interface has a tip: To conserve server resources, please submit only the trunk subdirectory of a Subversion repository. Do not import the tags or branches directories. The more data there is, the more chance there is that the count will not complete. I removed http://svn.civicrm.org/civicrm/branches/ for now. I suggest you add only the relevant branches where the most commits happen (ex.: http://svn.civicrm.org/civicrm/branches/v4.1/) depending on your project model.
