One of XWiki's project enlistment is failing but shouldn't

The following enlistment is marked as (Failed 3 months ago.) but the URL is valid:

http://svn.xwiki.org/svnroot/xwiki/platform/core/trunk

See https://www.ohloh.net/p/xwiki/enlistments

Can you help?

Thanks

vmassol,

Hello

The problem with the enlistment of http://svn.xwiki.org/svnroot/xwiki/platform/core/trunk three months ago is occurring due to an error on ohloh's side. It's actually causing several other projects to have enlistment problems too.

I don't have an estimate on when it might be fixed, but it's very high on our priority list.

We'll reply to this thread when it's corrected and you'll be notified via e-mail when we do :)

I also notice that an additional failure has blocked update of enlistment http://svn.xwiki.org/svnroot/xwiki/workspaces/trunk for eight months and I have started a re-fetch of that enlistment and will monitor that process.

vmassol,

Looks like that additional enlistment failed as well. Appears that that enlistment is set to a no-longer-available path. (The requested URL /svnroot/xwiki/workspaces/trunk was not found on this server.) Could you amend the enlistment to point to the correct path or delete the enlistment outright.

Thanks!

Thanks a lot for your fast answer. I'll wait.

Re /svnroot/xwiki/workspaces/trunk it's normal since we removed it from our SVN repo. I hesitated removing the enlistment since I didn't know if it were going to remove past stats too or only future stats. Let me know and if it doesn't impact past stats, I'll delete it.

Thanks again

vmassol,

That thought occurred to me as well... Will explore if we can set the enlistment to avoid any periodic retries and I will refer the question up the chain of command.

Thanks!

vmassol:

I've fixed the enlistment that was failing due to the ohloh bug.

As far as the question about what happens when you delete an enlistment, you will lose the Code Analysis stats for that enlistment.

However, project stats do not update at all, unless all enlistments succeed.

So if the broken enlistment is not removed, the project stats will never get updated.

That makes the choice as to whether or not to remove that enlistment... a lot easier :)
