Technical Issue Help : Stats broken - .NET DiscUtils

Hi festive_ken, I ran a full clean recount for this project, and that appears to have cleared up the problem. Let me know if anything else is still out of place. Thanks, Robin

Technical Issue Help : no update on project Quinoa since 26 Aug 2009

Hi Cirprian, No hard feelings, I totally understand. I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner -- there is usually not much Ohloh tech support happening on the weekends. It looks like the problem with ... [More] phpMyChat is that we apparently have an outdated link for the source control. We are currently attempting to track this CVS server: :pserver:anonymous:@phpmychat.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/phpmychat phpMyChat However, the rlog for this module is empty -- has the source control been moved somewhere else? Feedback Forum : How/why are FOSS projects validated by name in the profile section on Ohloh?

Hi ryan, Our validation is simply trying to look up the project in our database. Just because the project isn't in our database yet doesn't mean that we consider it to be closed source; it just means ... [More] that our database is far from complete. The solution is to add your unknown projects to our database. Anyone can add a new project toOhloh. If your projects are old or obscure, it's very likely that we don't know about them yet. I'm sorry this wasn't easy to figure out -- there are a lot of rusty spots in the Ohloh UI design. The other challenge will be finding the source control repository for these projects. If they're old, they may not have any source control systems available on the web. If that is the case, then Ohloh won't be able to process the source code statistics. However, you are still welcome to add the projects to our database without the source control links. Let me know if you have any more questions, I'm happy to help. Robin [Less]

Technical Issue Help : SolrNet enlistment failed

Hi Mauricio, It looks like this repository was rebased or had its commit history rewritten somehow. Ohloh is unable to perform an incremental update after this happens. I've scheduled a clean clone ... [More] of the repository, which should clear up the issue. Robin [Less]

Technical Issue Help : MercurialEclipse repo update failed about 1 month ago

Hi Andrei, It looks like we have been getting 502 Proxy Error responses from bitbucket.org. I've rescheduled the updates, and I'll keep an eye on them. By the way, it seems that this project has ... [More] enlistments in both http://bitbucket.org/mercurialeclipse/main/ and http://bitbucket.org/mercurialeclipse/main/wiki/ These URLs are essentially equivalent, since we will fall back to processing the repository root and everything it contains in both cases. If and when our analysis completes, you'll find that all of the commits and code are duplicated until one of these URLs is removed. Robin [Less]

Technical Issue Help : Enlistment failing for PLD Linux cvs repo

Hi Caleb, We do in fact use cvsnt-2.5.04 on our servers. :-) Our problem seems to be in pulling the initial rlog -- it takes so long to generate the rlog that we end up get disconnected by the ... [More] server before it finishes. Everything after the rlog step can be broken down into small, incremental piecework, but the initial rlog request is something we do in one big operation, and each time it fails we have to start over, and it often requires a manual restart. I can keep scheduling retries -- if we can get over this step, the rest may be slow, but at least steady. Robin [Less]
