Android Studio is a great IDE having many professional features. There is a learning curve, but seems like the right tool for making native Android apps.

Would give it 5 stars except for occasional bugs.

Nice open source virtualization, while does not have all options of major proprietary systems, seems stable and fast with the right setup and hardware.

For people who use Vi / Vim every day, it feels like home.

Drush is a must have for development, site-building and site management for Drupal, for Drupal developers could be 6 stars.

The IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition is a solid IDE.

PEAR has been a solid method for distributing reusable PHP libraries and features.

Xdebug is still good. Have used it in Netbeans, and find the debugger an essential tool for software development.

Joomla is an excellent and Flexible PHP MySQL / MariaDB based CMS. Has nice themes and user interface for complex sites.

CakePHP is an interesting Framework. Have done some test projects and think it is a solid system.
