Larry Fincher was born in Arkansas. As his father was a Minister, he moved a great deal as part of his job and Larry grew up in a variety of small towns. He attended High School in Prescott Arkansas, went to Hendrix College in Conway and graduated in 1976 with a degree in Biology.

Larry Fincher went to Dental School at University of Tennessee in Memphis, graduating in 1981. He practiced in Fayetteville, Little Rock, and has been in Conway for 22 years.
