Seems that Alfonso Orozco is really mad at the Xomol Project. I wonder where he gets all his hate from.

Seems that he does not understand the concept of Open Source. Shame on you.
I guess he believes he is a prominence down in Mexiko, I wonder if he can give us a proof of his programming skills in this forum, I doubt.

Maybe he would be so kind in showing us his achievements, maybe he can give us an url of his own Projects. For what I have researched I only found quite a lot of hate post in several forums, seems that this guy has autoproclamed himself as a shaman or something like that. Anyway you guys want probably Google his name and find out that this guy has been fighting his whole life everyone on the net.
But let’s concentrate on the topic Xomol.

I have been using Xomol since a couple of months, what can I say, I like it, it has helped me develop my appz saving me time, lots of developing time. The core engine is fast and can play almost anything you drop on it. I work for Hanse Merkur (an Insurance Company here in Germany) and have implemented Xomol on several Intranet Appz with success. Our company staff as well as de hundreds of agents around Europe, North Amerika and Asia speak over 20 different languages, thanks to Xomol I can make the systems work smoothly and fine.

The newest version of Xomol can be installed in less than 3 minutes. Everything works just fine. Xomol had a XSS security issue on versions v1 and v1.2 but as far as I know those issues where at their time very common on other CMS like Joomla and Drupral. All of them are great software packages and have updated their packages and now safe to use. Thanks to the Open Source community.

-->Xomol architecture is 100% independent, some images might be duplicated, but this has for what I understand the propose that you can activate/deactivate any of the modules without affecting the rest. That’s the magic of Xomol!

-->Grammar? I speak 5 languages, 12 dialects and believe me, I don’t know how to write properly, language files are fine and If there is any spelling error, fix it and send the update to Xomol. That is the basic princip of Open Source!

-->You don’t understand that each module is 100% independent. Xomol’s approach of his Installer is very good, It allows programmers like me to setup customized backbones without having to update the whole DB dump. I love Xomol’s Installer!

-->The DB dump is in development, for what I know the Xomol Team is getting ready to offer a multi DB support (Sybase, Oracle, SAP, etc). The system works fine for me! I must confess that I had to fix some Indexes and stuff but it really works fine.

-->The XSS issue has been fixed since version v1.3 if I am correct. I don’t know what version is Alfonso testing. The XSS issue came also in several mayor CMS Projects like Joombla, Nuke, Drupal, etc. Even in the Forum that Alfonso Orozco is currently using on his sites!
