Individuals generally associate memory lapses in their mid-30's, 40's and 50's as an indicator of Alzheimer's disease as they approach aged adulthood, but generally this is not the case. Memory lapses can be both aggravating and disheartening but they are because of the overpowering quantity of data that is being taken in by the brain.
