There are lots of login modules but often they assume you will be building your own password recovery and management functionality. Yii User Management adds a lot of extra features that may save a lot of time.
Yii User Management development is pretty fast moving so the odd bug might creep in but the developers are quick to respond to any reports. Its been around for quite a while now and has become pretty stable.
You need to be developing with the Yii PHP framework but that is also excellent and well worth a look. I currently use Yii and Yii User Management for all my new projects.
