This project is absolutely amazing. You have 32 FreeSWITCH/OpenSIPs/Database instances distributed across the internet on commodity, virtualized hosts. You can run upwards of 12,000 hosted PBX phones with a full GUI and automatic redundancy across the board on every component. All using open-source software that's automatically setup for you.

Do the math. 32 VMs x $45/month = $1,440 for the entire infrastructure.

$1,440 / 12,000 seats = $0.12 per phone.

You have to bring your own long-distance but that's so cheap these days that you could probably do $5/month for hosting.
