I am a ECM (Enterprise Content Management) consultant for various enterprises like Agfa, Rabobank, Daikin, ... .

In my day to day job, I help these enterprises to cope with a huge amount of information. A lot of this information is meant for the web, so implementing tools to manage large internet sites is what I do for a living.

Depending on the customer's preference we need to implement these sites either in Java or .NET.

We already had a great framework for JSP sites but our .NET sites were always a pain in the ass. The reason for this is that we needed to publish the code behind files or we needed inline code and all this code needed to be generated at publish time.

Thanks to SharpTiles, we now have the same methodology for JSP sites and .NET sites. The easy syntax to access objects by means of their properties allows us to develop and implement sites a lot faster. We also don't need the code behind files any more and we don't use datasets any more because now we can access the objects really simple using the Tiles View Engine.

During our developments for a new site, we needed some extra functionality. The lead developer, Renzo Slijp, helped us immediately and was really open for contributions. This allows us to keep up with the main project and thus we don't need to manage our own fork of the project.

To sum up, we managed to get our project done within time and budget thanks to SharpTiles.
