Counting lines of source code (Failed) in Fura project

Hi,

I hope this one is easy to fix. It looks like the updater was able to download the code, but failed on the last step.

What are the reasons for a failure in this step? May it be related to some kind of undetected error during download?

Of course, I would thank you a lot if you can kick it a bit on the queue, but this is not the main reason of my post. I realize a lot of projects have priority over this one :-)

Cheers,
Rodrigo

Hi Rodrigo,

Contrarily, this is a real puzzler. Code counting should almost never fail, which makes me think that perhaps something did silently go wrong during the download.

I've scheduled a clean download. If it fails again, I'll have to do some deep digging.

I'll keep an eye on it today.

Thanks,
Robin

I see it is fixed now. Thank you very much.

You are probably right. Sourceforge is really slow to access, and this can cause lots of weird issues :-D

Again, thanks!

The same just happened on OfflineIMAP. OfflineIMAP is hosted with Git on my own server, which should be quite speedy. It is a rather routine Python package. Any ideas?

It's now happened a second time with OfflineIMAP. Oddly enough, one branch worked...

John, is there a still a problem? OfflineIMAP appears to be OK now -- I'm guessing our system must have had a hiccup of some kind, and auto-rescheduled the count.

Yes, it does appear to be OK now. Thanks for checking.

4Suite failed in the same way.

Hi Seo,

I restarted the 4Suite line counting job. It's a huge job so it'll take some time to complete. I'll watch the progress.
