I chose a dumb URL for my project
Just a typo - I entered ajaunit instead of ajaxunit for my ajaxUnit project. Doh!
Is there any way to change this?

Sure, this one is easy :-).
Visit the project's Edit Summary page. You can change the project's Ohloh URL Name
to the value you like.
You'll be able to use both the old and new names in the Ohloh URL, at least for a while.
