Confusing "Compare Projects"
What is up with this tool?

For one, I don't really understand what I'm looking at. Also, the 2010-2011 progression makes no sense.

That tool needs major work :)
Basically we can't trust the lines of code stat due to some major bugs on our side where we double count or triple count (or more) certain git commits. This is the #1 thing we are working on fixing right now and it'll take at least another month to finish.
We want to improve the project comparison bit a great deal! We have lots of great ideas on how we can make this truly useful. It's certainly something that's been neglected for a while.
In fact when I go look at the code, I see this comment:
This code is ugly, but not high-enough priority to clean up right now.
So it's something we intend to make better in the future :)

You know, it might be a good idea to do a blog post along the lines of:
