HTTPModules UrlRewriter may not work in IIS7 if Managed Pipeline Mode is set to Integrated.  As a result, Catalog or Web pages may not work.  Try changing IIS7/ApplicationPool/ Managed Pipeline Mode setting from Integrated to Classic.

In /web/RewriteService.cs, line 43, there is a TODO: comment to move USE_REWRITE to SiteSettings.  I tried to do this, move the rewrite settings to SiteSettings but it did not work due to security exception error.  I added a new property called ... [More] IsUseUrlRewrite in /Core/SiteSettings.cs.  And then, I used "SiteSettingCache.GetSiteSettings()" in /web/rewriteService.cs, line 145, BuildGenericRewriteUrl function, to get the SiteSettings.IsUseUrlRewrite. An error of "System.Security.Securityexception: Request Failed" appears in here. To resolve the issue, I found this recommendation online, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555466. There are a lot of steps to get around the error and I don't believe this is the best one due to security risks involved in fixing it. The security exception error message is:  /Dependencies/SubSonic_Source/SubSonic/AbstractLis.csSystem.Security.Securityexception: Request Failed Unless there is a better solution to the problem, I think we should move IsUseUrlRewrite in web.config to make it simple. An exception is thrown in "/web/product.aspx" is executed when an image is pointing to a thumbnail. ~/repository/product/thumbs/150x150_imagename.jpg.  I have no clue why, but renaming the image from "150x150_imagename.jpg" to "thmb_150x150_imagename.jpg" seems to have fixed it.

Release 71116 (Alpha version for .NET 4.0) in IE9 renders menu items on levels 3 and 4 without filling them with background color all the way to the right.

Update URLRewrite template to write the url from "~/product.aspx?pid=$2" to "~/Product/(.+)/(\d+)" Instead of old URL "/Catalog-Product-Category-1_4.aspx", it will be "/Catalog/Product-Category-1/4/".
