I would recommend using FDroid, it isn't as bloated as Android Market, and seems to have better apps. Unfortunately ( in the case of Osmand at least) their repository is a bit out of date. I usually get a new build from [link].

Hello, I guess we have different thoughts of what OsmAnd is and how we use it. For me OsmAnd is the all-in-one map app that allows one to put multiple data (GPX tracks, photos) on a map. But It seems GPX tracks and photos don't have the priority they should have. Maybe you want re-think this because some functionality is already there

I understand your (technical) point of view. Just wanted to reduce the number of clicks for this action from 4 to 1. But never mind, it's alright like it is now :) Cheers

After lengthy discussions over various threads and lots of user confusion over this, I have now renamed our former "default" use profile to "Neutral map", so we have the profiles: - Neutral map - Car - Bicycle - Pedestrian Looks like in the end we had pretty much a tie whether we shoudl name the

Well, see attached. I used the free software GPSBabel, and simply converted the kml file you provided to GPX XML, using their default parameters. If you put this file in osmand/tacks on your sd card, you can display it in OsmAnd using Menu/Define View/GPX track. You will see the points marked, but no description. Not sure if I lost any

Totally agree with your conclusions in this post! Let's not follow Frankenstein! The latest nightlies already made route management easier. Just one idea to simplify route management: If you want to move the destination when there is already a destination defined, you don't have the point context menu option "Set as destination"

fr-tts ? Don't know how to check. After 370m turn sharply right -> After 350m... After 640m make a U-turn -> After 600m... Prepare to keep left after 370m -> ... after 350m When possible, make a U-turn -> NOTHING GPS signal lost ... [More] -> NOTHING Route recalculated (23150m) -> NOTHING *Follow the road for 360m and arrive at waypoint -> "Continuez pendant [Less]
