Plain Black has discovered that the driver for PayPal Standard Checkout could be exploited by users to purchase goods from sites using the WebGUI Shop without paying for them.  The other drivers, Cash, Ogone, PayPal Express and iTransact, do not ... [More] have this problem. All versions of WebGUI containing the PayPal Standard driver are affected, going back to 7.7.6. The fix for this bug will be released tomorrow, May 24, in 7.9.29 and in 7.10.17. Due to the rewrite of the Shop code in 7.9, the simplest and safest way to protect yourself from this bug is to upgrade to 7.9.29. In the meantime, until your site is upgraded, we recommend that you disable the PayPal Standard driver. To do this: [Less]
