Project Summary

SummaryOn Mac OS X, Adobe Photoshop CS 3 does not properly handle Arabic text. Letters are not properly re-shaped, and they appear disconnected and backwards.

This JavaScript plugin re-shapes the characters into the appropriate ligature, then reverses the text so that it displays in the proper direction (right-to-left).

NOTE: According to some users, Photoshop CS3 for Windows suffers from the same problem. The same users claim that my script works on Windows as well. If you are running into the same problem, give my script a shot before continuing your search.
