Project Summary

ASIO is a trademark and software of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH.

RequirementsTo compile this project you need to get the ASIO 2 SDK from Steinberg's website. Download the SDK and expand it so that the folder ASIOSDK2 has the same parent folder as this project's folder.

DownloadThere's no packaged download yet. But the latest development release can be obtained with Subversion. Check out the Source tab.

An initial version of AsioCaps (built on top of asiolib) is available. It's similar to otachan's "ASIO caps".

Here's a screenshot:

The "Play Tone" functionality is not there yet. This is on the back burner for now. It seems a better path to an ASIO to .Net bridge would be a C/C++-based playback engine with a .Net interface for control and feedback, rather than trying to do it all in .Net. Check out portaudiosharp.

OverviewThis is a .Net Framework 2.0 C++/CLI class library that wraps the native IASIO interface with a managed interface so that ASIO hosting software can be written with languages such as C#.

DetailsThis project was built with Visual Studio 2005 SP1 running on Windows 2003 Server Standard SP2.
