Project Summary

The Axyl web development platform was accepted into the Debian Unstable archive on November 16th 2004, and will be part of the forthcoming Sarge Stable release.

Many thanks to all who have made this possible, especially Andrew McMillan who sponsored it in the first place. Others of note are Mark Kessell, who has contributed numerous small fixes and suggestions, Adrian Pronk and Hamish Carter for the Java-based Luceneserver daemon, and Will Stokes.

Axyl still has a long way to go. Items on the feature list include: a configurable workflow system, built-in user-driven help, completion of database independent layer modules (MySQL, Oracle, ODBC, SQL Server), RSS, LDAP, configurable audit-trail, application-level usage logging, W3C compliance, re-usable content-managed blocks, user-defina
