Bletchley combines a set of cryptographic primitives as described in the NSAs Suite B specification, adding on the wire encoding, and a trust calculator which is configured with an ACL. Bletchley is aimed at message broker environments, where you can't use SSL or SSH. It's intended to allow auditing: you can keep messages, and audit them later, rather than simply trusting your logs. Messages come with a proof of who sent them. The ACL system supports delegation of authority, user defined permissions, and is extensible with user defined rules. A version which can be embedded in non-Java applications is planned.
