Project Summary

cadnano is a project, written in Python, to aid in the design of DNA nanostructures using the scaffolded DNA origami method developed by Paul Rothemund.

The script reads the following ASCII inputs:

Pre-Helix Lattice file Helix Lattice file Scaffold Domain file Scaffold Path file Interface file (used for polymerization) and generates the following output:

Default versions of inputs 2-5, if necessary. SVG diagram of scaffold and staple paths. X3D model for 3D visualization. Sorted list of DNA oligonucleotides for ordering. Pipetting instructions.
