English We've made some small improvements to the version and update check in ClanSphere. Due to this older releases than 2011.3 Patch 4 won't get automatically notified about future updates (from now on). There are also some long awaited ... [More] bugfixes and new external software updates included while those for the FCKEditor filebrowser also enhances its security. Further releases are not planned for now. English ClanSphere source control has moved to Github this march. The source code of the IntraSphere Addon for LAN-Parties and some Modules developed by members of our team are hosted there, too. Feel free to create forks, issues for bugs and ... [More] other features. Github has already released clients for Mac and Windows that are easy to understand and use while working with Git, but there are also mobile apps. One for IOS and another one for Android - released just a few days ago - that allow you to stay in touch with further changes and bugfixes to our repositories. If you want to know more or have problems with Git or Github services regarding this project or extensions you want to share with others then just ask in our forum and we try to help. English Our goal for cSphere is to deliver a standard software in PHP that only ships the basics. It will start as a simple multi-user blog and be easily extendible to use it for small to medium sized and scaled company or association websites. ... [More] We don't plan to create a big ball of mud which is tied to large scaled business and we also don't focus on blogging by "pressing some words". cSphere won't ship special features for special cases, its a generic approach where we try to keep it at least usable for esport related pages by providing some well known plugins in that area. The rest is up to web-designers, interactive agencies and others that like high productivity, good maintainability and an up to date code base with well documented functionalities. The cSphere framework is different from most other PHP ones as it relies on what PHP was made for and not what is possible by writing tons of workarounds. Instead of MVC we use Model-View-Template. Instead of a Data-Mapper we use Active-Record. At least a Service Locator and a Service Loader are main parts while we don't want you to waste hours on struggling with dependencies. We don't think that we can do everything better or add some more eye candy. We ... [More] even don't want to get an award for the cleanest software architecture that creates workarounds for the PHP way to make it look more like e.g. Java. cSphere is focused on productivity. We believe that this goal can only be reached by serving high quality software with simple and straight forward features. With only small effort PHP's on-board functionalities are easy to learn, use and extend for special cases. There is no low-level configuration - e.g. for dependencies - or other stuff to worry about. Just activate the service drivers and get the plugins that you like and maybe create your own ones. Convention and automation cares about the rest. The appended Screenshot shows our Debug Mode in Version 0.1 (internal March Milestone). At that time our framework was about 5000 LOC (lines of code) and is now over 7500 LOC while still growing. Wir wollen auch keine Auszeichnung für die sauberste Software Architektur bekommen, die um den PHP-Weg herum arbeitet, um es z.B. mehr wie Java aussehen zu lassen. cSphere ist auf Produktivität fokussiert. Wir denken, dass dieses Ziel nur mit hoch qualitativer Software bei simpel und gradlinig gestalteten Features erreichbar ist.
