Project Summary

The current performance assessment meta-model in the PYIK software has been tested on a very simple model with limited scope. The meta-model needs more verification by application of existing models on to the meta-model. The new improved version will therefore Select two different performance assessment techniques from the various existing techniques, and model them using the meta-model presented. (Note that this also requires research in the domainss of quality management, psychology, education and practical assessment methodologies. ) Prepare user interfaces and evaluation dashboards/scorecards for the performance assessment reports. These will include charts, gauges and some interactive components which require a decent amount of AJAX application development and a degree of data modelling. (See http://www.dundas.com/Gallery/Gauge/RS/index.aspx?Img=Dashboard3 and http://www.netsuite.co.uk/portal/products/nsb/rtdashboard_l.shtml for the state of the art in dashboarding) Conduct periodic and end of project performance reviews for the CTP210/CTE310 projects to see how the models work.
