If you only want to present an amount of information which changes infrequently it is recommend to use a basically static way to create your homepage. In this case your website does not need to have lots of dynamic features and it is less necessary to have a modifiable structure. To build such a homepage there are lots of developement tools at the market.

But if you wish to start a more flexible and dynamic homepage project this possibilities are not applicable. To instantiate such a project you need certain programming techniques rarely handled by people which just want to set up a homepage project.

The goal of this project is to create a flexible structure of a homepage. The customer should be able to assemble the homepage of his desire from a pool of software parts. He gets a basic part including the most significant functions and interfaces to extend the functionality with different modules without being obliged to know the handling and background of the technologies used to realize such extensive projects.
