Project Summary
Cygwin Launcher is a tool which will help in making it possible to run a single Cygwin installation from a USB drive across different computers and also making it easier to run multiple Cygwin installations on a single computer.
Cygwin Launcher basically lets you specify which mount points Cygwin should use for a particular installation. Normally, this information is stored in the Windows registry, making it specific to a single computer. If Cygwin is run from a USB drive, it won't be able to find its proper mount points. Cygwin Launcher changes all this by making it possible to store this information in a file which can be made part of a particular Cygwin installation.
