Project Summary
Java ID3 library to read and write ID3 tags from MP3 or other files. Objectives:
- Respect specifications
- No non-standard extras
- Support for ID3v1.1 and ID3v2.4
- Support for unicode characters, mainly UTF-8
- Support for all frames
- No bugs :)
Desired features:
- Custom padding size (none as well!)
- Strip corrupted tags
Far far future extension:
- Flexible interface (select the frame type, input the data)
No way:
- MPEG encoding/decoding
- Workarounds for non-standard files
