Project Summary

This workflow engine allows customizable documents to be defined and controlled by business processes.
Using a fine-grained permissions system, document and process
administrators can completely control who
can view and edit parts of the document, and at
what stage of the business process they can do so.
As of now, the engine is just that, an engine. It does not contain
or control any sort of gui. The engine is being designed to be used
in conjunction with a JSR portlet in the liferay portlet container, but
any java based thin or heavy client can use it.
Source, javadoc, and database scripts can be found in the downloads section.
These are not guaranteed to be up to date. For the most up to date versions,
navigate to the Source tab and click the browse link. The most current source
will be in the project directory.
document-workflow requires java 1.5.x and MySQL 5.x. Oracle database scripts are in the works.
