I am a newcomer to DokuWiki and I want to test it on my own machine before trying it on a server. The Ubuntu specific installation page mentions several versions but not 20.04. I stated following instructions on ... [More] https://www.dokuwiki.org/install:ubuntu. When I issue "apt-get install php7.0-xml" I get "E: Unable to locate package php7.0-xml". Any suggestions on how to proceed? [Less]

[Less]

Hi, would someone who has the Navi plugin on their site, be willing to share their site? I want it on our corporate wiki but can´t seem to find an example of how it looks/works, so that I could show it to my team 🙂 Thanks!

DW removes IPTC Caption on upload unfortunally. Why not use it? When I edit the Caption field in Media Manager and stave it in the image, the charset used is strange. ex: Before upload to DW $ exiftool -Caption-Abstract image-orginal.jpg gives ... [More] Caption-Abstract : Swedish åäö and ÅÄÖ The same image uploaded to DW and edited in Media Manager taken from /data/media... $ exiftool -Caption-Abstract image-orginal-dw.jpg gives Caption-Abstract : Swedish åäö and ÅÄÖ Looks like mojibaki to me. As Dokuwiki is file based I would like to present data on the filesystem with DW. The transformation of file names is bad enough. I can handle that. The handling of image meta data is worse. I'm on MacOS and on Hogfather. What to do? [Less]

Problem: When using the dokuwiki template, having a (right-)aligned image overlays or overly compresses tables besides them. So I have the following situation: I have a right-aligned image that I show besides a table and text. Which works ... [More] beautifully if there is enough width for everything: However, if the space gets more crowded, the table becomes pretty much useless while the text just gets moved until it fits: It's even worse on mobile where the table simply disappears behind the image, so you might not even know it's there: Using the DokuBook template, it seems that everything works out as I would expect, with both text and table getting moved, so that you can read all of them: So I guess my question is: How can I tell the image to interact with the table as it does with the text? If I can not, how I can I tell the table that I want it to be fully readable? If I can't do that either, how can we fix the Dokuwiki template? 😃 Thanks in advance! My minimal example for testing purposes: ====== Testbeitrag ====== {{ https://www.chip.de/ii/5/6/7/6/2/8/4/8/43dff6dc96b32060.jpeg?400}} ^ Eine ^ Tabelle ^ mit vier ^ Spalten ^ | mit einigermaßen viel | Inhalt | und noch mehr | Füller-Content | Aber hier noch etwas Textcontent.
