Project Summary

E-Sword CD

E-Sword is a fast and effective way to study the Bible. e-Sword is feature rich and user friendly with more capabilities than you would expect in a free software package. The fact that e-Sword is free is just one of the blessings and does not speak of the quality of the software. I make my living writing software and I believe I have put forth my best effort in this endeavor. The real work, however, was put in by the godly men and women who devoted countless years creating the texts that have been made available for our benefit.

See http://www.e-sword.net/ for more info

Quick Description of Files on the CD: Number 1 should always be run first but the other files can be skipped.

1 setup795.exe Basic Install of E-Sword. Comes with 1 Translation.

2 E-Sword.part01.exe BIG Collection of Everything else for E-Sword. THIS COULD TAKE UP TO HALF A HOUR.

3 screensaver.exe Turn your computer into a witnessing opportunity with the e-Sword Screen Saver. You can also use it to display your memory verses, or just encourage yourself from the Word of GOD. The screen saver uses a Verse List and Bible translation of your choice.

Microsoft Word Macros: If you use Microsoft Word for your sermon preparation (instead of the really cool Topic Notes editor in e-Sword), then maybe the following template will make searching and inserting Scripture easier for you. Taking advantage of the latest in Active-X technology these e-Sword macros give you all of the capability of e-Sword's Search and Copy functions. Now there is no reason to switch back and forth between applications, and "cut-and-paste".

Pocket PC: E-Sword for Pocket PCs and the Bible files. Run the Install file for your Devices Pocket PC Version then install the Bible Files you want. Note: Space is usually an issue with Pocket PCs so it is not recommended that you install a large amount of Bible Files.
