Project Summary

Edile is a basic but useful text editor for Linux, implemented in a single source code file and requiring no installation beyond that. It's meant for system administration and scripting uses, it's not an IDE. It requires Python, PyGtk and if you have GtkSourceView installed it will use that for syntax highlighting, line numbering and other things.
