Project Summary

There are two reasons for the existance of this project here on Google Code. I need a convenient, reliable way to host and version-control some code I like to share code with everyone, even if I am writing it for my own projects.

ExpressionEngine is an affordable commercial Content Management System (CMS) which is designed to be very extensible. The reason I like it so much is simply because it has been built around the concept of ad-hoc database entities (which they quaintly refer to as "weblogs"). In my experience as a web developer, a large percentage of business requirements can be met by the implementation of some custom business entities inside a CMS system which has all the infrastructire for data entry, output templating, and security scoping. In many ways, EE is not ideal, but it is pretty good, and still my first choice.
