Project Summary

A GWT-compatible library which provides EJB annotations & enums so that the GWT compiler can compile annotated entity beans unmodified.

Implements:

all enums & interfaces from javax.persistence java.io.Serializable as an alias for com.google.gwt.user.client.rpc.IsSerializable

Requires GWT 1.5

Setup: First, create a .gwt.xml file for your EJB module. For instance, my entity beans are in the reef.ejb.domain package. I put the following code into src/reef/ejb/EJB.gwt.xml:

Next add your EJB module and ejb4gwt to Main.gwt.xml:

Finally, add the ejb4gwt jar and your EJB module's jar or source path to the classpath passed to the GWT compiler.

Note: When packaging your project, remember not to include the ejb4gwt jar as it may interfere with the real package.
