"Ginette" reads the equations from a text file which has been written
by the teacher.
For each equation, the students have to choose between
a few operations in a combo-box.
These operations will gradually bring him to the equation's solution.
For example, to solve the equation "2x+3=-5x+4", the students can
choose to substract 3 from the two parts of the equation.
The software's answer will be "2x=-5x+1" etc...
The student can solve the equations gradually, choosing actions
in this list :
1- Add or substact one expression from both members of the equation.
2- Multiply or divide these members by a constant number different
3- Expand everything
4- Permute the left and the right.
5- Replace the left member or the right member of the equation with
a factorized expression. Ginette doesn't factorize : the student
type the factorized expression himself, and the software checks it.
6- If you have to solve an equation like "(x-1)(2x+3)=0",
Ginette can replace it by the two equations "x-1=0" and "2*x+3=0".
Just choose the option "Null multiplication"
7- The option "Null division" replace "(x-1)/(2*x+3)=0" by "x-1=0"
The student can solve, the 22 or 33 linear systems step by step.
