Project Summary

Gentoo Linux[1] is the my favorite distribution.
It has from-source package system AKA Portage.
Official portage has ton of packaging rules, is so-called Ebuild.
Local users' ebuilds can be prior w/o editing official one, is Overlay mechanism.

Recently, a new Gentoo Sunrise[2] project had begun.
It's for making user-driven overlay, was one of ideas to review more ton of ebuilds are filed Gentoo Bugzilla as new ebuilds.
Of course, ebuildJP[3] has same propose as one of its ideas.
But, both ones wouldn't give me permission to control all ebuilds, unfortunately.

So, this is my own Portage Overlay, will give me full permission.
Miscellaneous taste, bit of ~ppc centric because of my G4 lappy.

NOTE:
I don't know how to use Subversion, so I decided to abandon Google Code's repository hosting capability and to use as only issues tracker.
Then, the Mercurial repository is now located at my GentooJP dev space[4].
Feel free to clone and poke like,
 $ hg clone http://dev.gentoo.gr.jp/~hiyuh/cgi-bin/hgweb.cgi portage
