BackgroundManaging an inventory is one of the biggest problems that many businesses face.
Whether they manufacture goods, distribute, or resell them, any business that has a
physical inventory eventually runs into these problems:
• How many of each part should be ordered
• Determining when each part should be ordered
• How to estimate when demand will go up for a part
• How to estimate when demand will go down for a part
• How product spoilage affect on economic order quantity
Using the code:
public class IiM_EngineModuleExample
public IiM_EngineModuleExample(long i_StoreId, int i_ProcessSleepInterval)
m_StoreId = i_StoreId;
m_ProcessSleepInterval = i_ProcessSleepInterval;
public void IiM_EngineExample()
IiM_Engine iim = new IiM_Engine(m_StoreId);
} Points of InterestIiM is an API for Intelligent inventory management, it includes modules for: future demand forecast, Economic order quantity calculation for perishable products and Data Base managment. Each module can be independently used and replaced (Plug&Play) following detailed documention of our work. Combining all tools mentioned above with the modular approach we used create simple for use, smart and customizable product.
