Project Summary

Starting with #!? blog, I aim to create a plugin for bbPress that fully integrates Twitter with bbPress and vice versa to act as an extension of Twitter for a certain topic or subject. Further, we can look to extend this to other platforms including Facebook and Wave to allow every user the ability to harmoniously exploit bbPress and view content as posts or as summaries on Twitter, with simple reply possibilities.

For example, I could create a post on my bbPress installation, have that tweeted and update my Facebook status and then, from Wave, watch as other forum members send their replies (from the forum or as a comment on Facebook or as a Tweet).

The first step - 1.0 - is full integration with Twitter and this system is about to enter testing. Once tested it will be converted in to a plugin and opened for general release in the bbPress repository. Helping hands needed!
