Project Summary

KIX - federated web-based collaboration framework for fully integrated data sharing.

Objective: provide an integrated distributed enviroment for collaborative live document processing, which supports complex distributed document dependencies.

Details:
1. extensible automation of forward feed when live documents are updated.
2. extensible automation mechanisms for external document deployment.
3. document/version centered web fora for feed back and stake holder discussions.
4. fully scalable federated peer-to-peer implementation.

Implementation: Modular perl5. Built on top of RDF triple database, with a mapped object model on top. Display and user control via class specific HTML templates. X3P protocol for comms.

Status: fully functional prototype exists (in limited production use)
