LuaAL is an object-oriented wrapper around OpenAL allowing Lua code to play/record sounds in 3D. It aims to be:
Feature complete - anything possible with OpenAL should be possible with LuaAL. Clean and simple - code that uses LuaAL should be self-documenting. Efficient - impose as little overhead as possible compared to a more direct mapping. Flexible - it should be easy to support additional OpenAL extensions and file formats. LuaAL will also include a wrapper around the ALUT library (for WAV file support) and Ogg/Vorbis (for Vorbis file support).
LuaAL is still in the very early stages of development. Feel free to checkout the source, but beware that the code may change quite rapidly and may not be very reliable.
