Especially under high load receiving lots of AS2-Messages, we get spurious errors, so Mendelson receives the message but can't ... [More] process it. Mendelson then sends an error to our partner. Our partner tries to re-send the AS2-message, but Mendelson refuses to accept, because this ID has been received before. After 5 Days (default) there's a clean-up of old messages. Then next time our partner resends the message, it will be accepted by mendelson and further processing is done. Since we were unable to understand the primary error we did following as workaround: a) Automatic clean-up is don after 1 day instead of 5 days. This speeds up automatic "recovery" b) If we get error-messages by mail or logscan, we manually delete unsuccessful messages - and our partner successfully resends them Hope I could shed some light to your problem.
