Perl 5.10.1 or newer (was: 5.8.1) is required. BUFR processing was extended. The download of data from Ogimet and NOAA/NWS dataserver was adapted. Several smaller improvements were made.

Removal of outdated released files

To ensure that files for old versions cannot be downloaded by accident (e.g. via links on web sites which provide outdated information about the project), only the latest ones will be provided via the File Release System (FRS) at SourceForge. All ... [More] older files were removed. To get the released files for version 1.47 or newer as ZIP archive, go to the "Code" page of the project, click on the tag for the release (e.g. "r1.47"), and then click on the "Download Snapshot" button. You can also clone the Git repository and use "git archive" to get the files as ZIP or TAR archive. If you need other versions or formats please say so (via sourceforge.net ticket, forum, or message). [Less]

The next release will require Perl version 5.10.1 or newer. If you have to use an older version of Perl please tell me which version you need (via sourceforge.net ticket, forum, or message).

The processing of pre-analyzed BUFR messages was prepared. Pipe opens in the CGI script have been improved. Pod::Usage is used for the usage information. The Makefile was reduced to a bare minimum. The option -n (dry run) was added for install.pl. Several minor improvements were made and a few minor bugs were fixed.
