Project Summary

The idea behind this project is to transfer the Naked Object pattern to another abstraction layer.

Maybe it will not fulfill 100% of the original requirements but the final idea of "automatic generated" user interface is the same.

In the original approach you have to implement the "model" or domain classes and a framework creates all other pices (from persistent layer to HMI).

The idea of this project to implement this on the Eclipse plattfrom. Well in general even this idea is not new :) The new aspects are the following:

the model is realized dynamic with emf.ecore initally the hmi implements a tabel view as know of the most spreadsheet application operations are "injected" by scala code you can create dynamic menu entries, button ... ...

Here some current working areas

started to integrate a local CDO repository several cleanup and re-factoring of the generated EMF code added (simple) view of the package registry Ideas

CNF based Model View integration of EEF additional data editor based on GMF deeper integration with eclipse by a NO2 project (?) remote CDO server support additional editors (e.g. a model text editor) Further details will follow ...
