Nile is a complex (MMO) RPG game, written in PHP and Javascript, using MySQL as the back end database. Skills will feature as an integral part of the game, with an emphasis on character skill. Combat is not going to be neglected however, with players free to just hack 'n' slash if they desire. The characters will have various skills they can develop.

Latest NewsThe current development build has been released as a featured download. The code is also available from SVN. I will endeavor to keep the SVN repository up to date from now on. We have a new host for the Alpha site, the link has been updated. Version 0.0.2 is now live and accessible. Currently a 'login' session is started automatically.
Upgrades over 0.0.1 are: Considerably better tileset graphics Map display/movement system upgraded Character location state is saved on the database Map file format upgraded, more useful data is stored in the map file
