Project Summary

Introductionnokia-camera-timer is a small Python script that will take a photo every N seconds. One use is to create a time lapse video using the images generated by the camera. Another could be to photographically document a journey, the original inspiration for the project courtesy of flickr.

Installing nokia-camera-timerTODO

Only the source exists currently. Download the source and copy it to your device, e.g. using bluetooth on Linux:

obexftp -b -c E: -C Python -p nokia-camera-timer.pyRequires Python S60 Script Shell and a compatible phone (developed on N82 and N97).

How to use nokia-camera-timerHow to use nokia-camera-timer:

If you're using the main camera, open the viewfinder (and exit the camera app!) Start nokia-camera-timer.py script; The viewfinder is shown on the application screen. Place phone somewhere handy, ideally in a well lit, still position. Configure the timer delay (and additional options) via the 'Options' menu (TODO) Once you're happy, select 'Options->Start' to begin taking photos Exit the application by pressing 'Exit'.
