Project Summary

Introduction

OpenDesk a desktop enviroment written in qt4.5 for the openmoko phone
Target

The idea was born from my passion for qt and poor ergonomics and convenience, the DE provided for om.

The objectives are to have a complete DE and applications for telephony, and of course the tools you need for a touchscreen device (like the virtual keyboard)
Installation

For now I don't try to install / compile it for the om architetture but I run it only on my PC. The binary are compiled for arch 64bit.

Require qt>=4.5

To compile:

-move in the directory
-launch qmake
-make

Important:
-First compile the lib/QEMenu and install the lib and the header file (ex: .h > /usr/include and the .so > /usr/lib/ )
-Compile the other file and launch it (without install for now)
