TextLayer backend now working (I also had the drawing of text working to some extent - compile with old OpenDisplayGl files to see). Some code is in place for the move to OpenGl rendering, although a lot is commented out because it is segfaulting

Text Layers now drawing text, which updates when buffer is changed. One paragraph is displayed, although which one cannot yet be chosen. Font can be chosen, although size is ignored, database backend is still not working (No FVS error)
