Project Summary

OSDFMOpen Source Dynamic Friction ModelOSDFM is a project aimed at accurately simulating the friction of a tire on a car, taking into account as many factors as possible. It is based around Unity 3D, which uses AGEIA's PhysX engine.

A demo of the progress so far (requires Unity3D web player) can be seen here: http://dlgamesstudios.googlepages.com/WheelSim.html This demonstrates the suspension model, which allows for customizable spring rates and dampers.
