Personal manager ("PM") is a very simple personal management system written in PHP. It exclusively uses the MySQL database to increase the simplicity of its design. With a simple configuration file-based authentication system PM is designed to be used by a single privileged user.
PM provides a functional API for ‘applications’ to be written in PHP. Each application uses the database and outputs data in a required format (such as a for normal web browsers, mobile web browsers, etc). Applications can communicate with each other (for example the calendar application can communicate with the daily tasks application if both are installed, to display the number of daily tasks remaining for a particular day).
Standard built-in applications include:
A start page with quick-links A calendar daily-tasks A feed-reader sticky-notes task-list web-links
