The dhcpd.conf.master parsing and writing code no longer uses a standard "comment" line as a label/identifier for "group" declarations. It now uses the string ## followed immediately by the label to label group declarations. For the time being, it is backwards compatible, and will also use the previous form (ie just a # followed by the label) until I am sure that all code relying on the old form has been changed. Comments are still not treated well (discarded?), but we have the potential to manage comments properly in future as they can be treated differently to labels.	buzz	More...				almost 21 years ago

Commented out/removed the code to maintain persistent dhcpdmanager connections as keeping persistent connections open to dhcpdmanager daemon/s seems to cause periodic lockups of the web interface which requires a webserver restart in order to correct the problem. Disabling this persistence will probably slow down the "search leases" and "server manager" page views ever so slightly, but will improve the overall stability of the registration server.	buzz	More...				almost 21 years ago
