Project Summary

Keys of Naand (KoN) is an open-source, singleplayer, 2D isometric, fantasy RPG using FIFE as game engine. It has a storyline written by the Myth Weavers community members, more precisly, the Farland group. KoN is licenced under GPL and will be absolutely free. As the game will be based on FIFE, it will work cross platform on Windows, Linux and Macintosh.

Unfortunately nowadays RPG developers neglect the role-playing aspect in their games and concentrate much more on graphics. The KoN-team aims at focussing on a complex story with a good ammount of puzzle but still offering fast phased action. We want to give the player the chance to make his/her own decisions. Your choices in the game will have different consequences. Thus you as a player will have a stake in the story.
