Project Summary

UnWritten OSBE is a blogging engine written in classic (3.0) ASP; it runs on top of a MySQL database (support for other databases will come at a later time).

It has a lot of features commonly found in blogs and CMS platforms out of the box, but also the basis for a plugin management system. Both the layout and contents are generated "on the fly", thanks to the integrated templating system, quick and easy to customize. Some pretty major features are planned to be included in the final (1.0) release, like full support for podcasting and iTunes feeds, a complete plugin framework and "nice urls" for SEO

Main features - templates support via custom tags - full-featured WYSIWYG content editor - tags and tag cloud - static pages and categories - polls - users profile and management, avatars - different user roles - rss feeds - badwords filtering - one-click install - SHA encrypted passwords
